Mostly known for its superior control of the hips and stomach, belly dance is one of the oldest dance forms on earth. In this class series we will explore the movements and cultures that define this ancient dance form. Through isolations, traveling steps, combinations and more, students will learn to incorporate these moves and how to make them their own. Ideal for beginners or those seeking to deepen their understanding of the basics.

No dance experience necessary. All are Welcome, Come Dance with Us!

Belly Dance can improve your strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness, all while having fun in a safe and supportive environment!

Wear comfortable workout clothes that are easy to move in, a hip scarf if you have one, and bring water.

Cancellation policy No refunds. You may transfer to another dance workshop offered at Mindful Movement & Wellness at a later date in 2019 if approved.
