Mindful Movement & Wellness Policy Guide

Welcome! Please take a moment to review our studio policies so we can continue to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space for all.

Monthly Communication
  • Stay informed: Please read our monthly newsletter for the latest studio updates, schedule changes, and upcoming events.
  • Spread the word: We appreciate you sharing Mindful with your friends and family!
Class Etiquette & Health
  • Hands-on adjustments: Instructors may offer hands-on adjustments during class. If you prefer verbal cues only, kindly let your instructor know before each class.
  • Health and wellness: Please do not attend in-person classes if you or your child is experiencing symptoms of illness (cold, cough, flu, allergies, etc.). We encourage you to attend a virtual class instead to help us keep the studio healthy.
Studio Schedule Policy
  • Class schedules: Our class schedule and instructors may change seasonally or based on attendance and demand.
  • Minimum attendance: All classes require at least 2 participants registered to be held.
  • Low attendance: Classes with consistently low participation may be removed from the schedule.
  • Cancellations: Classes may occasionally be canceled due to weather, instructor illness/injury, or lack of coverage. We will notify you as early as possible and provide a virtual alternative when possible.
  • Flexibility: We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we do our best to serve the needs of our growing community.
Kid-Friendly Class & Stroller Policy
  • Children 3 years and under must remain in a stroller or carrier during class.

  • Clean up after your child is required. This includes wiping messes, cleaning borrowed toys, and bathroom areas.
  • Childcare is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Postpartum & Impact Policy
  • You may return to class after 6 weeks postpartum (vaginal birth)
  • You may return to class after 8 weeks postpartum (cesarean birth)
  • There is a 16-week no-impact postpartum policy in place for healing and safety.
  • Modifications will be provided, and we’ll check for diastasis recti. If present, certain exercises and classes must be avoided until healing is complete.
